My Story

Hi! My name is Neta, I started Sacred Routines, back then called Rituals and Art in 2020, in the midst of quarantine and my first year of motherhood.

I've always been interested in learning the old ways of doing things, sans electronics and super technological machines, respecting the true time it takes for things to be made, building patience, a word so meaningless in our time. From knitting, sewing and embroidering, to fermentation, herbal medicine making and growing my own food in my garden.

Rituals and Art was born just as I was reborn into my own life, leaving my pre-motherhood history in the past. Rituals and Art is where I hold my different coaching programs.

I've always considered myself an artist, I even got a BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but even there my art was about the slow and most natural processes used for the everyday: Pottery!

I am an artist not in the way that people understand art, selling massive paintings and sculptures at fancy galleries. I am an artist of everyday life. I consider art the enjoyment of eating out of a handmade plate, food that was grown in true connection and respect to the earth, sleeping under the cover of a hand-knitted blanket, following the energy rhythms of my month in connection to my menstrual cycle and approaching every detail of my routine from a place of awe, value and beauty.

I find this to be a remedy to our fast-paced, consumerist, artificial and overmedicated society.

In 2022 I got certified as a Transformational Coach, to offer 1:1 sessions to help people do the transformation to live in accordance with their true and honest individualities and find beauty in their present moment. Find more about my approach to Transformational Coaching here.

In 2024 I changed Rituals and Art's name to Sacred Routines, as it felt more in-line with my message and approach to life.

*I live my life bilingually, you will find services and projects in either English or Spanish, and if you have a preference, you can always request your prefered language between these two.
